Insulated Wire Welding The firm bonding of insulated wires to each other or with connector parts in the production of electrical components and devices with the help of resistance welding requires that the insulating layer is removed, for example, mechanically, chemically or thermally, before the actual welding current pulse is switched on. A combination of stripping and welding in a single work step has immense advantages here.
