Your ESD control products must be working. A quick test with a charged plate analyser will immediately demonstrate that wrist straps and foot grounders nearly instantaneously remove generated electrostatic charges to ground. However, there must be an electrical path to ground.

IEC 61340-5 requires that an organization verify the effectiveness of their ESD control program.
To make sure the money you invest is providing a return use Combo Testers and require your workers to daily or twice daily test the integrity of their wrist straps and foot grounders.
