The integrated LMV1000E marker features single mode operation for high resolution marking with position resolutions in the 1 micron meter range, which is sufficient for making micro markings which are nearly invisible to the naked eye. The advantage of the Vanadata crystal is a short pulse width and high repetition rate which makes the laser ideal for marking heat sensitive materials such as plastics. The marker and marking systems can be operated via a simple touch screen for the low cost systems to an easy to use Windows® XP based system with fully integrated control of the motion system.
